Fox News Settles Abby Grossberg Hostile Workplace Lawsuit

Fox News has agreed to pay $12 million to settle a hostile workplace lawsuit from Abby Grossberg, a former producer for host Maria Bartiromo and now-former host Tucker Carlson.

Grossberg’s attorney Paisis Filippatos confirmed the settlement to Insider. The New York Times first reported on the details.

Grossberg filed the lawsuit in March, alleging rampant sexism in the workplace. She said that staffers on Carlson’s show Tucker Carlson’s team plastered photos around the office of Nancy Pelosi in a bathing suit “revealing her cleavage” and made sexist and antisemitic remarks, and that she was denied professional advancement because of her gender.

Grossberg’s litigation also threw a wrench into Fox News’s defense against a separate defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, which was settled for $787.5 million a month after Grossberg made her claims. In legal filings, Grossberg said Fox News’s lawyers coached her to make false statements in a deposition for the Dominion suit.
