A Manhattan grand jury indicted Donald Trump on Thursday, making him the first former US president to be charged with a crime.
And while it’s currently unclear what charges Trump faces, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office had been investigating Trump’s personal and business finances, including a payment Michael Cohen — Trump’s former personal attorney turned nemesis — made to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels just days before the 2016 election.
